So is Midas Gold or Copper?

Well, I just saw the first three episodes and it's a welcome change from my recent rom coms. Having said that, I'm taking a wait-and-see approach to this. It's interesting enough but there's nothing in particular to rave about so I guess I'll just wait to see the rest of the series.

Next on my watch list: The Thorn Birds

I am more inclined towards boom or bust. I don't think he has cashed that check yet.

Have you considered what others are clamoring about as wonderful in Paradise Ranch? It's supposedly light and frothy....

lol... I don't think I can watch Paradise Ranch. The trailer alone made me root for the second lead and other than that, it just looked like crap. Maybe if I'm really bored and desperate I'll try it.

How is or was Royal Family?

I know you mentioned that drama before....I was going to take that one over Midas, but Midas came 1st....The male lead is treating the leading lady like a 2nd class citizen now that he's hobnobbing with the rich and infamous....

They better have him do some serious begging before she takes him back.

I haven't tried Royal Family. So far, the plot kinda reminds me of Daemul... younger guy supporting older lady on her journey to leading something.

The soompiers seem to like it so maybe I'll try it after they have like 4 episodes subbed.

As for Midas, there are obviously some complications coming into that relationship which is why they didn't let them get married. Even though the younger guy just wants her for fun, he's the one who's got cancer, right? I don't want her to end up with a terminally ill person but I hope they do explore that avenue and the older people can both end up single. lol.

We do not know about the player yet, but our girl is definitely lonely.

I have to see epi 4 subbed because I think this fool used the older woman (her tastes or ??) to buy his girl a gift. The person that told her about the gift is the same co-worker that set her up to meet the player.

Since I am a fool who watches a drama before it's actually subbed, I think player informed his sister about her and his intentions; divide and conquer....The older woman is playing the damsel-in-distress who wants to ANNIHILATE her older brother to lawyer dude who is licking it up by the bowls....

I guess both lawyer dude and player consider themselves chivalrous, lol.

Oh yeah, the older brother is a gangsta!

The lawyer dude's father is a gangsta!

The only innocent ppl in this drama is lonely girl and her father.
