Zenkai Girl Episode 8

I only skimmed it but looks like an emotional episode for Wakaba (it's all about her dad). But how come when she's crying (it was her turn this week), she has to be the one to lean on Shota and hold him first, huh? But at least he held her hand. Are they going to make out at this rate??!?!?!
In ep 9, Wakaba finally confessed. Can't wait to see that.

The Chinese-subbed ep can be viewed here.

Park Min Young and Lee Min Ho

So I didn't even know that PMY had so many antis. While most of the reaction to their dating news is positive, there are some negative comments too (as would be expected). Seems that some Min Ho fans don't think PMY is good enough because of her facial reconstruction. Well, we all know that plastic surgery isn't uncommon in the K-ent industry and most of those women get married or in relationships so clearly their facial work doesn't hinder their dating lives that much.

Secondly, men just don't care that much about what a woman did as far as they are attracted to her. That's just something I've learned over the years:

Guy: She's hot
Me: Well, she's had her boobs and nose done.
Guy: So what? She's still hot.

Unless the woman looks like an alien, guys don't care... hello, we all know they are shallow. And frankly speaking, the more I get into K-ent, the less I care as well because it's not my face they are cutting up. I just wish they didn't feel the need to have cosmetic surgery for their jobs and wish they didn't feel pressured to do it but it's not something I judge them for. So I don't think a woman doesn't deserve to be with a hot, wonderful, etc etc guy just because she's had work done.

In Time With You Eng-Subbed Trailer

Yep, he's loved her the whole time. Can't wait!

Zenkai Girl Episode 7

I got to watch it live today and it was a good one - very emotional. Although the Pitaro's Mama story has proven to be rather undramatic but it's all good.

Pic credit as tagged.

They should stop teasing us with posters and just air the drama now!

Yes, this is another In Time With You post. I hope I don't hype myself out of enjoying it.

We need more OTP moments (Zenkai Girl Episode 6 Spoilers)

The episode was more about Hinata and her mom but I want more Wakaba-Shota moments.

Even though Shota pushes Soyoko off him, Wakaba doesn't see it because she's distracted. She runs home and starts to work to make herself busy but she starts to cry without realizing it.
Hinata's mom has to work out of town so she has to spend some nights with Wakaba. Hinata makes them spend the second night with Shota and this is what we get:
And this:
And Wakaba dreams that the person who'd confessed to her while she slept is none other than the good ol' principal. LOL. But only because Shota planted it in her head earlier when she asked him who spoke to her while she slept.
Hinata is devastated when she learns that her mom won't be able to see her in the school play and Shota comforts her. I wish he could become her real dad. :(
More Shota and Hinata moments after he talks her mom into coming and Hinata freaks out when she does.
The play is a success and Hinata clears up the confusion for Wakaba that it was Shota with her while she slept and not the principal. She realizes he confessed to her and runs to him.
But she finds Ririka there and gets mad at herself, I think, calling herself an idiot for liking him (I think).
And this makes her agree to marry Shindo.
And the preview has her flaunting her diamond at Shota.
Wakaba, grow up!
The Chinese subbed episode can be viewed here.

Wakaba has issues (Zenkai Girl Episode 6 spoilers)

When she remembers what Shota said to her while she was sleeping i.e. that he likes her, she runs over to this place, the whole time remembering all their moments.

She gets there to find his ex wife there. She hides and eavesdrops on the convo (Samao also shows up) then her phone rings announcing her presence. She takes the call and appears before the three. And because she's mad at the situation (ex-wife and stuff), she looks straight at Shota and tells Shindo that she will marry him.

Episode 7 preview now has her flaunting her engagement ring to Shota. At this point she knows for a fact that he likes her. Ugh, what's her problem? Too much pride, that's what it is.

Protect The Boss...

... is another funny drama filled with crazy characters. I just hope it stays good till the end. Right now it's totally hilarious although it's getting a bit more emotional.

Zenkai Girl Episode 5

Seems the main uploader lost interest in the show so we don't have an upload to English sites as of yet. There are other uploaders but they usually release the files a number of days after its aired. I guess that means English subs will come out later than usual this week (*cry*).

EDIT: English subs are out as well as the raws. :) Hardsubbed files can be downloaded from here.

It's already available with Chinese subs on tudou and youku. Credit to the uploader.

Wakaba's Brain (Zenkai Girl Ep 5 SPOILERS)

Who does she love? She wants to think of Shindo but all she can think about is...

Stop fighting it, Girl. :D

There were emotional scenes today... need subs. But I do understand "I like/love you." Hehehe... he confessed! Too bad she wasn't awake.
Bitch, keep your filthy lips off him! I actually don't mind Soyoko but don't be such a perv and steal a kiss from a sleeping man - especially one who hasn't previously given you permission, Missy!
And of course, Wakaba had to see it. lol. Close your mouth - a fly might enter it.
And now Shota's ex is back in town. What kind of drama will she bring? :D

Back to this episode... I like the dress she wore when she met Shindo's mother.
But of course, Shota had to be there to see it. lol

Anyway, looking forward to next week.

Scent of a Woman is totally worth my while.

It feels like a mid-2000s drama - the era I fell for kdramas. I don't feel like writing anything now but all I will say is that it's very enjoyable.

Recap List

So I went from having nothing to recap to too many things to recap. Okay, that's false since I did have two things I had to finish up. Anyway...

I"ll write the last I Need Romance recap over the weekend.
Heartstrings... well, if the second episode is subbed this evening, I'll watch both and write thoughts by Friday. This one will be easier since it won't be an actual recap.
Zenkai Girl. I'll do a four episode summary then recaps after that. So hopefully I can finish that today. I'm going to have to do it from memory but it's all good. I freaking love it.
Protect the Boss. I wanted this to replace City Hunter but I don't think I'll even have time to watch it before Sunday but hey, it's not a race. I can do recaps, highlights or nothing depending on how I like it.

OMG, I'M IN LOVE!

I just might be recapping my first jdrama. It's so awesome! I LOVE IT!

It's called Zenkai Girl and I will talk about it later. But it's LOVELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have fantastic chemistry. It is love.

Next week is going to be good!

What to recap next

So City Hunter is done, I'll post the last recap for I Need Romance this week and all we are left with is Heartstrings. So what's next to watch?

Yit is watching Spy Myung Wol so she has that covered; Scent of a woman, I am not ready to watch; Protect the Boss, not sure I'll watch; IS, don't wanna recap; I don't do Sageuks or long ass weekend dramas. So what's left?

The Adjustment Bureau

It was an interesting premise but why was it also a romance? I wish the ''plan" that he was trying his best not to follow wasn't about some damn romance!

Maybe I'm just having a bad day and hate romance today but Emily Blunt really did have some witty lines that had me laughing out loud. Her chemistry with Matt Damon was great but I really hate how in these movies people meet once and fall in love (and never forget the person) like give me a break.

It was very well shot, original, funny and sweet but as I mentioned, I really wish it wasn't a freaking romance because it really wasn't well developed even though their conversations were funny. But I guess this wasn't really about two people falling in love but the natural chemistry one feels with someone. So they didn't have to get to know each other but instead their instincts clued them to who the other person was... as in, that person is "the one." The usual Hollywood baloney. Okay, I think I'm in a bad mood.

All in all, it's worth a watch. Maybe I give this a 7.

Friends With Benefts

Well I finally saw it and it was alright - like your typical rom com. Justin Timberlake is really very annoying but he wasn't as bad as I expected. Mila was alright but it was so obvious they used a body double for some of her scenes. There were some funny lines and I would have preferred if it had just remained a comedy without all the sappiness that occurred at the tail end - it kind of irritated me.

Overall, I give it a 6.5, I guess. Or maybe a 6.

Reactions to Kang Ji Hwan in "Lie To Me"

1) Are he and Eun Hye dating?
2) Is he gay?

LOL.... yep. Anyway, I clearly don't understand this article but it looks like something about costars dating and Ji Hwan + Eun Hye and Micky Yoochun + Lee Da Hae (yeah, right) are mentioned and it looks like their agencies have denied that they are dating.

Of course, as we know, an agency's denial carries no weight.
